Brentford captain Christian Norgaard has blasted the Premier League over the points deduction uncertainty.

The Bees are finding themselves sucked into the relegation as Everton and Nottingham Forest wait to learn of rulings over breaching Profit & Sustainability rules. Everton have already seen a 10 point penalty reduced to six upon appeal of a first case ruling.

It's hard for me to comment on these deductions," said Brentford captain Norgaard.

Somewhere, someone is sitting with a calculator and putting in points, taking away points. I don't know. It's people's jobs, people's lives they're messing with.

I don't know what's going on, to be fair. We have to focus on us, not on Everton. I'm sure we will improve and I'm sure we will find ourselves safe in the Premier League when all is said and done, but there are things we have to talk about and improve."

On Monday's defeat to West Ham, the Dane added: When you concede so easily and you're 2-0 down after seven minutes, in this League it's suicide.

How are you going to come back from that? You make it so hard for yourself.

I think we have to talk about it, we have to improve and we will improve. We will do better and we will finish off the season very strong, I'm sure of that. But, of course, right now it's very tough."
